Maybe it brings back memories of a happy time when you walked in the snow or makes you think of a future adventure ! Walking on a snowy day is one of my favorite memories of childhood.
Hello! My name is Karen Howard, owner of Shady Lane Studios. After a long career in nursing and other medical related fields, I started painting for relaxation and enjoyment and it worked! I have never loved anything so much as painting! I feel pure joy when I pick up a paintbrush and I hope you can see that in my art! I started painting 18 years ago in acrylics, then enamels on glass, followed by watercolor and oils. I learned oriental watercolor in South Korea in 2004 from a Korean paint master while my husband had an assignment there with his company.
